Don’t forget the half yearly meeting this Sunday at 11 am. This is when we decide on the young-bird program , classics etc.

Last week I went to the club on the off-chance that there was a Fed meeting, and yessiree, there they all were.Not that there were any big decisions to be made, but the outcome of the special meeting had to be confirmed. As to why I was not informed about the two Fed meetings….the buck is still rolling.

I just got a note in the mail about our half-yearly meeting. It will be held at the clubhouse on Sunday 29 th of January at 11 a.m. I don’t know yet about the Fed hal yearly. It is usually the week before ours. But as of now, no information on that yet. There were whispers floating around about a secret meeting in Putaruru,but I have heard nothing further, and since I was not invited, I have nothing to add.

A strong northerly and north easterly, picking up as the birds went North covered the whole race.I missed the arrival, as they were released half an hour earlier than was scheduled. 5 birds out of the six I sent were in the loft when I went outside. Just as well the electronic clock was ready.
